The joint health
There are some steps you can take to help maintain joint health:
- Lose excess body weight in order to avoid or reduce joint discomfort. Joints suffer less with less weight.
- Take appropriate amounts vitamin C and calcium. Vitamin C is necessary for collagen formation, that supports the joint tissue. Calcium helps build strong bones; strong bones reduce pressure on joints.
- The stretching and muscle strengthening help maintain range of motion and increase flexibility. Perform regular physical activity such as walking, cycling and swimming. Ask your doctor what exercises are best suited for you.
- Change of posture and muévase regularly; spend all day sitting or standing can cause stiffness. If possible, alternate between these two positions, ideally each 30 minutes.
- Exercise of heating and cooling increasingly undertake a physical activity, to prevent injuries and increase flexibility.
